Dorset-based health insurer, Health-on-Line has been named as a finalist for ‘Employer of the Year’ at the Dorset Venus Awards.

Three finalists for each award category were announced at the Finalists Afternoon Tea held at Stewarts Garden Centre yesterday, who are also sponsoring one of the categories in these awards. Health-on-Line were shortlisted down from a number of entrants to be named as a finalist for the Employer of the Year category alongside other finalists - Dorset Cereals and Atlas Elektronik.

The Employer of the year category sponsored by Rubicon Recruitment Group is a new addition to the annual award ceremony for Dorset Women. Entrants are judged by a panel based upon a number of factors including the Company’s culture, working environment, flexibility and of course the involvement of women within the business.

Madelin Talbot, HR Manager for Health-on-Line, expressed her delight as being named as a finalist:

“We are delighted to be announced as a finalist for ‘Employer of the year’ at the Venus Awards, and feel honoured to be acknowledged amongst this group of successful Dorset employers.

"At Health-on-Line we strive to ensure a great working environment for our staff and are pleased to see this has been recognised externally. This shortlisting reflects our continuing dedication to support our staff, regardless of gender, throughout their journey here at Health-on-Line and the hard work of the various departments who provide that support.”

Since its conception in 2009, the Venus Awards have expanded from recognising women purely in the Dorset area to reaching eight regions across the UK.

The nationwide awards programme recognises local business women and helps to deliver business and personal development as a result.

Customer Reviews

  • “Excellent customer service. The Heath plan was catered to my needs and requirements. I'm very impressed with the low price. Had I known how affordable health insurance was before I'd have taken it out years ago.”
